    This is highly DEBATABLE. My professional opinion on this is that females might need to up-level their caloric intake (specifically protein), as well as their heavy-weight-lifting routine versus cardio-based training.

    However, I can’t easily agree that women have a harder time. I think there’s usually just a cultural expectation that women shouldn’t life heavy weights.

    Females do not have as much muscle mass, to begin with. This means that, in absolute terms, men gain more muscle mass from strength training, expressed as kg or lbs of body weight.
