Here is one of my favourite inspiring quotes by Franklin D. Roosevelt “The Only Limit To Our Realization Of Tomorrow Will Be Our Doubts Of Today.”
This quote is from one of my favourite book which is Tuesdays With Morrie – “So many people walk around with a meaningless life. They seem half-asleep, even when they’re busy doing things they think are important. This is because they’re chasing the wrong things. The way you get meaning into your life is to devote yourself to loving others, devote yourself to your community around you, and devote yourself to creating something that gives you purpose and meaning.” It’s quite long but the meaning means a lot to me and I hope you like it too!
“It’s ok not to have things figured out, to not know who you are in this world. Because the world does not define who you are.You do. And once you have accepted that, thats the day you’ll finally be free” I don’t remember where I found this quote but I noted it down in my phone and read it once I feel lost and it really helps me.
Wow! that’s a really beautiful quote, Alex, thanks for sharing!
“Take the road less traveled” I’m not sure where I heard this from, but whenever I feel down, I would try to remind myself that it’s not worth comparing my journey to others. There’re no such things as being behind in life. Don’t use the wrong measuring stick. Be bold to take the different paths where nobody takes them, it could be scary but the scariest paths often lead to the most exciting places. 😀
“All these storms falling upon us are signs that the weather will soon clear and that things will go well for us, for neither good nor bad can last forever.” — Don Quixote. This one really gets to me, especially in times like this, where I’m really looking forward to better days.
